The Wishart Sharks Swim Club is dedicated to providing an active swimming environment for the local community. Our home is within the grounds of Wishart State School and as such we have a specific focus on encouraging young swimmers to develop their talent as far as they are able.
We welcome the involvement of the local community and would encourage all young swimmers in the Wishart area to come and compete in our club meet each Friday night of the swimming season.
SWIM MEETS
The swimming season starts at the beginning of Term 4 of the school year and runs until the end of Term 1 the following year. No swimming occurs during the Christmas break.
On club nights gates open at 5:30pm and the first race starts at 6:00pm. Typically the night finishes between 8:00pm - 8:30pm depending on the number of children swimming.
All ages and swimming abilities are welcome. We also welcome Parents, Grandparents and Guardians to also come have a swim on Friday nights to show the younger swimmers we can still participate.
Working Bee 2025
Wishart Sharks will be holding a working bee - Date to be confirmed.
2024 - 2025 SEASON
Club nights are held each Friday in Term 4 and Term 1.
Sign-on is open August 2024.
The Season starts with a working bee in September 2024.
The first Club night will be held on Friday, 4 October 2024. There will be no meets from during the summer school holidays.
Season will resume Term 1, Friday 31 January 2025.
FEES
The club has a yearly Season membership of $100 per family per season, and a once off Lifetime joining fee of $40 for new families. You can join on any club night, or have a free 1-night trial.
