Wishart State School P&C Association promotes the interests of, and supports the development and further improvement of Wishart State School for all the students, teachers, staff members and local community.

​Our P&C involves people just like you - parents, past parents, and community minded people who want to help our school. Members are volunteers, who willingly give their time, and enthusiasm, to help make the school a better place for everyone.  We are all juggling jobs, after school activities, younger and older siblings, families, study, the list goes on!   Actions speak louder than words when it comes to valuing your child's learning and joining the P&C is one of the best ways to show your children how much you value their education. 

The P&C works very closely with our school towards building a stronger school community - where all children benefit!

FUNCTIONS OF THE P&C

The P&C at Wishart State School plays a vital role in the school. Functions of the P&C include:

• Foster community interest in educational matters

• Facilitate closer co-operation between the parents of children, the community, staff and students of the school

• Give advice to the Principal about general operation and the management of the school and students

• Provide financial or other resources or services through a range of fundraising activities

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Wishart State School P&C is made up of an Executive Committee, that oversees any Sub-Committees and working groups.  Depending on the sub-committee or working group, there may be either Conveners, or a Chair, Treasurer and Secretary team, in conjunction with general member's forming part of their team.

The Swim Clubs annual special meeting (ASM) is usually held a week prior to the P&C AGM. Committe meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month during the season, and every second month during the off season.
