CORONOVIRUS (COVID-19)
Updated 29 March 2021
Wishart State School P&C Association, in consultation with Wishart State School, are making changes to protect employees and students in the school community. In line with the recommendations of the World Health Organisation and the Australian Federal Government, the P&C Association is working closely with our school and taking steps to minimise the spread of COVID-19.
Working with the advice from the above-mentioned organisations on the spread of COVID-19, while for most COVID-19 will be a mild illness, the elderly, unwell, and those with underlying medical conditions, as well as Queensland’s front-line medical staff are at risk. Slowing the spread of illness assists our health care system to manage the expected influx of critical patients and protects the most vulnerable in our community.
The following changes are in effect on P&C operations:
UNIFORM SHOP
The Uniform Shop is operating via ONLINE SALES ONLY.
Purchases can be made through our Online shop
Orders will be processed Tuesday morning, and available to be picked up from the Tuckshop from Second Break, as per the usual on-line ordering system.
Hats are available to purchase directly from the Tuckshop.
TUCKSHOP
The Tuckshop is accepting cash transactions
All Tuckshop orders will be taken to class just prior to break.
Two students from each class from Grade 1 - 6 will collect orders from Tuckshop and take them to class for distribution prior to each break. This will avoid the congregation of students outside the Tuckshop.
Prep Tuckshop orders will continue to be delivered to the Prep class as per current protocol.
We thank you for your assistance in supporting the P&C Association in making these changes for the safety and wellbeing of our staff and students. We hope that any inconvenience caused is alleviated by the knowledge that these actions will assist in keeping the spread of illness to a minimum.
With thanks,
Wishart State School P&C Association Executive Committee
